My darling 'kindred spirit!'
Recieved [sic] your "mom's trip windup letter tonight, hon' - and I enjoyed it muchly [sic]. As you say the ^best recitation of "details" loses much of the flavor the event possessed - but it was still a delightful treat to skip glibly with my wife on one arm and my mom on the other from "Town and Country" to "The White Turkey!!" I know, too, pooch that whereas most people can't write a letter unless there is "something (tangible) to report" or speculate on, you and I have found repetition of details pretty much of a chore - and the real pleasure in taking down our hair and just "bulling." Thats [sic] why I could see you take a *deep* breath and talk all the rest of the "report" out in this 'final' letter! Thank you, angel - I know its [sic] no fun to put down in stiff words ^necessarily inadequate facsimiles of good times ^had, real pleasures ^enjoyed, things of joy and genuine interest ^one's delighted in!^ As I wrote you a long time ago words just aren't an adequate medium for us. We both experience things to the busting point and its just impossible to capture more than a flavor of it in ink. You did it because you knew I would love hearing it - and I love you for it, sweetheart. Thank you, pooch. You may ^take *two* giant steps - *this* way!
