The script abbyy.py can calculate character confidence averages from .xml files output by Luratech PDF Compressor.  It can calculate a directory or an individual xml file.  

To calculate characeter conference averages for entire directory, enter the command in the following manner (must be at the same directory level as the script):

abbyy.py /dir/

To calculate character confidence averages for a single xml file, enter the commTo calculate character confidence averages for a single xml file
and in the following manner:

abbyy.py /dir/{file}xml
