This is a multi-part presentation,
which includes a section for each of the nations from
which the largest numbers of people emigrated to the
United States during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
A section on the Native American is included, as well,
to show what happened to the First People as waves
of immigrants arrived in this nation.

which, when rolled over, reveals pertinent dates
for the immigrant group discussed in that section.

which, when clicked, leads to an interactive map
of the United
States showing the port(s) of entry and migration patterns
of the immigrant group discussed in that section. |

watchface, located at the left side of the browser display,
which, when clicked, reveals pertinent data about
immigrant groups represented in the presentation. |

pages of each immigrant section can be navigated from
links at the bottom of the page. At the top of all
pages are links to additional sections of this feature
presentation and a link to go "home" (which
takes you to the opening slide show). The site sections
