When work is Done

Oral Report Guidelines

  1. Your group assignment is to present the leisure time activities that were most important in your two decades.
  2. We expect to see a connecting theme or thesis and we expect to see information regarding age, gender, region of the country and socio-economic status.
  3. Bring your album to life for your classmates.
  4. Your presentation is to be educational and document-based to inform us about what people did for "fun" during your decades of the 20th Century. We expect the theme to have been researched.
  5. The presentation should be about 60 minutes long
  6. The presentation must include one scene, activity, or event for each member of the group.
  7. You need an outline or script (2 copies) to hand to the graders before your presentation begins. Please include who is in what scene and what role that they play.
  8. You may include music, video, or PowerPoint. Arrange equipment needs no later than one day before the presentation date.
  9. Video may not be any more than 30 minutes of the presentation. No single clip should be longer that 10 minutes.
  10. See the Oral Report Grading Sheet for more information.

  11. Parents and guests are invited.
  12. Have fun.
