Bibliography For help in citation, go to the bibliography or works cited section of A Guide for Writing Research Papers based on the Modern Language Association documentation. The Writer's Practical Guide to MLA Documentation provides additional documentation and help. The Concordia University Libraries site provides Citation and Style Guides for APA, MLA, and Turabian styles of citation. Check with your teacher to learn which style you should use for your research paper. The MLA Style Guide provides examples of bibliographic format for books, periodical articles, and non-print materials. Another citation style is called Turabian. Examples for this style are available at the following: Turabian Style - Sample Footnotes and Bibliographic Entries and Turabian Citation Style for electronic publications. The Learning Page also provides information on Citing Electronic Sources and a list of links to other style guides, with example citations. Help with footnotes and endnotes can be found on the MLA site or in the Internet Public Library's Teen Division A+ Research and Writing Guide. Word processing makes footnoting quite easy technically. For additional help, check out the Internet Public Library's Teen Division step by step A+ Research and Writing Guide. The following is an example of a Bibliography page. Note that each entry is outdented, entries are not numbered, and the entries are in alphabetical order by the first word of the entry. Use the power of a word processing application to "automate" the correct formatting of the bibliography page. [Note: Titles are italicized for bibliographic format.]
