Each student will write an essay answering these two questions:

Assign students to read the memo from Mr. Amerson or one of the following excerpts from From the Hidewood: Celebration, Town School, Car Crazy, or Sonny Gets a Car. Students will brainstorm for synonyms to expand the list of search terms. For example, in the chapter Celebration, students will possibly come up with the words or phrases: Fourth of July, swimming, firecrackers, lakes. A synonym for firecracker could also be fireworks. Each term generates a completely separate image result. Activity Four Homework Each student will write an essay answering these two questions:
