First Person Narrative Guide

Directions:

1. Choose a photograph from American Memory. Be sure to choose a photograph that includes people.
2. Complete a photographic analysis of the photograph.
3. Use the information from the photographic analysis as a basis for your narrative.
4. Imagine that you are one of the people in the photograph.
5. Use the chart below as a guide. Explain who you are, what you are doing, when this activity is taking place, where you are, why you are doing this activity, and how you are doing this activity.
