<p>INSCRIBED TO <lb>
CAPT. H. G. Brigham <lb>
107 N. Y. VOL.</p>

<p>A Song for the times.</p>

<p>THREE CHEERS FOR <lb>
ABE AND ANDY <lb>
BY <lb>
CHAS. B. BRIGHAM</p>

<p>CHICAGO <lb>
<hi rend="smallcaps">Published by H. M. Higgins 117 Randolph St.</hi></p>

<p>Entd. according to Act of Congress AD 1864 by H. M. Higgins in the Clerks Office of the Dist Court of the Northn Dist of Illinois</p>

<p>Three Cheers for Abe and Andy.</p>

<p>Three cheers for Abe and Andy, and our gallant boys in blue, <lb>
For Gen&apos;ral Grant and Sherman, Who will put the rebels through; <lb>
And with their bristling bayonets will end this cruel war, <lb>
And teach men that this Union, must never lose a star!</p>

<p>Chorus: <lb>
Hurrah! hurrah! hurrah! hurrah! For Abe and Andy too; <lb>
For Genral Grant and &lowast;Sherman, And our gallant boys in blue!</p>

<p>Three cheers for Abe and Andy for them we&apos;ll raise a shout, <lb>
That will make the peace sneaks tremble and put them to the rout, <lb>
And we&apos;ll show them next November from Maine to Mexico <lb>
That copper&apos;s at a discount and secession is no go!</p>

<p>Three cheers for Abe and Andy who will turn upon their heels, <lb>
The rebel hoards advancing and the little Mack-er-eels, <lb>
And with ballots and with bullets we&apos;ll meet them vis-a-vis, <lb>
With ballots we will conquor, with bullets make them flee.</p>

<p>Three cheers for Abe and Andy and groans for Mr See, <lb>
We&apos;re about to put into his ear a monstrous great big flea, <lb>
How are you little Mack we think you soon will have the gout, <lb>
How are you Mr Davis, does your Mother know youre out?</p>

<p>Three cheers for Abe and Andy let out watchword ever be, <lb>
Till our Flag shall float truimphantly o&apos;er every state and free, <lb>
And our Army and our Navy have triumphed in the fight, <lb>
For Union, God, and Liberty, for freedom and the right!</p>

<p>&lowast;Sing for second chorus in place of Sherman, Butler, for 3d. Sheridan, 4th. Hooker, 5th. Rosencrans [Rosecrans]</p>
