Three cheers for Abe and Andy, and our gallant boys in blue, For Gen'ral Grant and Sherman, Who will put the rebels through; And with their bristling bayonets will end this cruel war, And teach men that this Union, must never lose a star!

Chorus: Hurrah! hurrah! hurrah! hurrah! For Abe and Andy too; For Genral Grant and ∗Sherman, And our gallant boys in blue!

Three cheers for Abe and Andy for them we'll raise a shout, That will make the peace sneaks tremble and put them to the rout, And we'll show them next November from Maine to Mexico That copper's at a discount and secession is no go!

Three cheers for Abe and Andy who will turn upon their heels, The rebel hoards advancing and the little Mack-er-eels, And with ballots and with bullets we'll meet them vis-a-vis, With ballots we will conquor, with bullets make them flee.

Three cheers for Abe and Andy and groans for Mr See, We're about to put into his ear a monstrous great big flea, How are you little Mack we think you soon will have the gout, How are you Mr Davis, does your Mother know youre out?

Three cheers for Abe and Andy let out watchword ever be, Till our Flag shall float truimphantly o'er every state and free, And our Army and our Navy have triumphed in the fight, For Union, God, and Liberty, for freedom and the right!
