vs }  <lb>
William Bachop   And the said plaintiffs as to the second plea of the said Deft, by him in this behalf pleads by leave of the court for this purpose first obtained, <omit reason="illegible" extent="1 word"> says. Deft p? because he says that there was a memorandum made in writing signed by persons there unto authorised by the said defendant of the said sale of interest in the land therewith referred to and this the plaintiff is ready to testify, wherefore he prays judgment be <lb>

<p>4th And the said Plff as to the plea of the said Deft by him above pleaded, by leave of the court here, first obtained further says deft (preacher?) because he says that as to the said sale &amp; promised no land plea mentions there was a memorandum thereof made in writing &amp; signed by persons thereunto authorised by the said deft, and this the said plff is ready to verify wherefore he prays judgment. <lb>
