Tazewell circuit court in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred &amp; fifty four</p>

<p>Bill to foreclose mortgage <lb>
and amended bill <lb>
to correct mortgage</p>

<p>This day came the complainant by his solicitor and it appearing to the court that the defendants having failed to answer said amended bill according to an order made at the last term of said court and said defendants being three times solemnly called came not but made default. the said bill as amended is taken for confessed against them. and therefore the cause being set for hearing and the court having examined said bill as amended. and having heard the proofs and allegations of the parties and being satisfied by said proof that the allegations of the parties and being satisfied by said proof that the allegations of said bill are true; and particularly that the m? in the mortgage, and the proper  <omit reason="illegible" extent="1 word">  <omit reason="illegible" extent="1 word"> are as in the <omit reason="illegible" extent="1 word"> Bill charged do order adjudge and decree that the said Joseph F Haines pay unto the said complainant the amount of the mortgage debt and interest and that the equity of redemption of all the said defendants in the following described real estate to wit the South half of the East half of the North West quarter of Section Thirty in Township Twenty four North of Range four West of the  third principle meridian be forever foreclosed. and in appearing to the court that there is now

due and owing from the said Defendant Joseph F Haines upon aid mortgage to said complainant for principle of the mortgage debt  in the sum of Two thousand Dollars and the further sum of Four hundred and twelve dollars and <omit reason="illegible" extent="1 word"> ? interest. it is therefore ordered adjudged and decreed that unless Joseph F Haines or some one of these defendants will pay to the said complainant the sum of two <omit reason="illegible" extent="1 word"> four hundred &amp; twelve dollars and <omit reason="illegible" extent="1 word"> ? cents in sixty days from this date with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent per annum the said real estate herein before described and intended to have been mortgaged as state in complainants amended bill be sold for the payment thereof and that John A Jones master in Chancery make sale of said real estate  at public auction at the West door of the court House in Pekin. the said master in chancery first having given notice of said sale in a newspaper four weeks successively published in Tazewell county, Illinois stating the time place and terms of sale. and when said is made the same shall be for cash, which when received said master in chancery shall pay to said complainant the amount of the mortgage debt aforesaid and interests and the costs of this suit. and the remainder thereof if any he shall pay to the said Joseph F Haines when demanded by him. and it is further ordered that upon the sale of the real estate aforesaid that the said master in chancery shall execute a certificate of sale to the purchaser

entitling him to a deed in fifteen months unless the same shall be redeemed according to law. and that said master in chancery report his proceedings herein to this court at the next term thereof when the court will make such further order as may be necessary in the premises. <lb>
