The members, Mr. M[eriwether] Smith, Mr. [John] Mathews, Mr. [James Mitchell] Varnum.
A letter, of February 5, from Doctor Jonn Arnold, was read:
Ordered, That it be referred to the Board of Treasury.
A letter, of 8, from John Nicholson, a clerk of the chamber of accounts, was read, desiring leave to resign his office, as he is appointed one [of] the auditors for settling the accounts of the troops of the Pensylvania line:
Ordered, That his resignation be accepted.
A letter, of 9th, from E. Foreman and J. Gibson, was read.3
