Ordered, That Mr. [John] Lowell have leave of absence.

That a Committee be appointed to revise and consider the instructions from Congress to Mr Jay and to report, if any, and what alterations or additions should be made to them.2

That the letter of Mr Jay of the 28th of April and the instructions to the Commissioners for negotiating a peace be committed to the Committee last appointed.1
