Mr. [Jeremiah Townley] Chase attended for Maryland.
Only six states attending, namely, Pensylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia; and these being informed that the members for New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New Jersey, left the city of Annapolis yesterday, with a view of returning to their respective homes, the Committee of the States is adjourned to ten o'clock to-morrow.
