On this day, according to indorsement, was read a plan of Count de Beaufort, of Liége, offering to colonize a tract of land in the United States. The plan, dated October 15, 1785, with accompanying papers and translations of same, is in the Papers of the Continental Congress, No. 78, VIII, folio 151--171. See post, February 9.]
