Resolved That in case the governor of the western territory shall find it necessary to hold a treaty with the Indians as empowered by the resolution of the 22d. instant, he conduct the same in conjunction with the Superintendt of Indian affairs for the Northern department unless the attendance of the sd Superintendt. shall be prevented by any unforeseen event.
