- "Frost" was inspired by my memories of growing up in Kansas and the cold winters. I no longer reside in that state, but I often miss the beautiful winters as I now live in the ever warm state of California. The music is somewhat minimalistic in nature, as the work contains repeated driving-rhythms. All of the thematic material is derived from the 8-note motive that is continuously heard throughout the work. Level: 3 Duration: About 2:30
