<mods:abstract>Choreography by Hermes Pan; "Specialties" by Condos Brothers and Jack Cole & Company" is what reads on the opening credits.
With Jack Cole (who appeared but was deleted from the release print), and the Condos Brothers starring Betty Grable (Kay), Charlotte Greenwood (Susan), Don Ameche (Phil O'Neil), and Robert Cummings (Jeffrey Bolton).

Weary of a waitress job at a Texas drive-in, Kay and Barbara (Grable and Landis) Latimer gamble on a plot to land at least one rich husband, head for Miami with their Aunt Susan (Greenwood) posing as their maid in their search for a millionaire.

Tap Musical numbers include:
1. "You Started Something" forms the background of a nightclub sequence in which Betty Grable challenges the young men to a tap routine: sung by Grable with Cummings at the piano at a hotel party; the Condos Brothers (Nick and Steve) appear as blue-uniformed busboys and begin their routine on a love seat: slides and close to the floor rippling taps, very loose and cool with complex syncopation; unison work is fastidious; smooth and very cool.
2. Hermes Pan partners Betty Grable in "The Kindergarten Congo" his first onscreen appearance. A Fred and Ginger-type number with ballroom moves, she is in a flowing gown; okay but not not great, the standout in the number is Grable's appearance, she is beautiful on film.
3. "Solitary Seminole" looks like an American Indian dance in swing, a strange hybrid of Indian/Mexican skirts for the women (these are Jack Cole's dancers). The Condos brothers make up for the ethnic/slurred theme and costumes: all swing and cool; they dance up platforms to to a stage; they solo for each other; then jump down the stage, so they are moving from place to place in the set which makes for exciting watching; Nick performs a rippling solo with double wings and turn while traveling and tapping; Steve repeats and varies with a more complex rhythmic pattern.

"You Started Something" perf. by Grable and the Condos Brothers.</mods:abstract>
