Plot invoved and young girl (Temple) who lives with a lighthouse keeper who rescued her when her parents drowned; and a truant officer who decides she should go to boarding school. Directed by Jack Donahue. Based on the 1923 version of the film starring Baby Peggy. Temple executes a series of difficult tap dance steps with Buddy Ebsen to "At the Codfish Ball" which became the hit song of the film. Their dance scene was followed by a tracking camera as they danced across a wharf. Directed by Jack Donahue, Temple's oldest teacher from "Stand Up and Cheer." Temple also had a solo dance down a spiral staircase. The dance was considered one of the best yet in her film career.
