"I'm Feeling Like a Million" with Murphy set in a park begins with the couple dancing when a sudden rain shower forces them under a pavillion. After the dance they return to the rain, splashing and taping joyously through puddles--this scene a full 15 years before Gene Kelly's "Singing in the Rain." "Your Broadway and My Broadway" with Powell and Murphy includes a comic tap dance with Ebsen and Judy Garland. The song segues into "Broadway Melody" as Murphy and Powell return in black tails and top hats to reprise "Follow in My Footsteps."
