    The New York City Tap Extravaganza, produced by the New York Committee to Celebrate National Tap Dance Day, Julia Richmond High School, New York City. Mistress of Ceremonies by Brenda Bufalino and Jane Goldberg. Co-Chairmen and co-producers Al Heyward and Carl Schlesinger. 

    Performers include Ira Bernstein, Fred Booth, Brenda Bufalino and The American Tap Dance Orchestra (Neil Applebaum, Barbara Dufy, Margaret Morrison, Robin Trible, Tony Waag), Jamie Cuneen, Dance Ellington, Bernard Johnson &amp; John Curry, Anita Feldman with Gary Schall, Jane Goldberg, Alde Lewis, Manhattan Tap (Heather Cornell, Tony Scopino, Shelly Oliver), Michael Mayou,Valerie Macklin, Ken Roberson, 
    Peggy Spina (accompanied by Joel Forrester), Sweet Pea (Herbin Van Cayseele)
    Michael "Toes" Tiranoff, Dorothy Wasserman (accompanied by Andy Wasserman), with special guest artists Savion Glover and Barry Harris.

    The 1990 Flo-Bert Award presented to The Copasetics (Charles "Honi" Coles, Charles "Cookie" Cook, James "Buster" Brown, Louis Simms Carpenter, Leslie Bubba Gaines, Henry Phace Roberts, and Leroy Myers. The program included film clips by jazz dance film historian Ernie Smith, first recipient of the Flo-Bert Lifetime Achievement Award. </mods:abstract>
