<mods:abstract>December 18, 1940-January 14, 1941, Nicholas Brothers play New York's Paramount Theatre with Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra (featuring Frank Sinatra, Connie Haines, Buddy Rich, Ziggy Elman, and the Pied Papers), with ventriloquist Criss Cross, and comedy team Lorraine and Rognan.

On top billing, Nicholas Brothers (Fayard and Harold) were billed as an Extra added attraction, identified as the sensation of films "Tin Pan Alley" and "Down Argentine Way." The Brothers were placed near the end of the program (ninth on the program) following the Dorsey band playing "Swanee River." Following the Nicholases, Sinatra sang "Begin the Beguine" "I'll Never Smile Again" and "The One I Love" followed by Dorsey and Orchestra's "Quiet Please" and their closing theme.</mods:abstract>
