May 28-June 10 1989. Boston Jazz Tap Festival. Presented by Jeremy Alliger's The Dance Umbrella. Master classes with Brenda Bufalino, Honi Coles, Steve Condos, Lynn Dally, Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, LaVaughn Robinson. Two tap creative residences were held. One residency was with a master artists. Another was with Savion Glover from a selected group of Boston youths under 18 years old, which lead to the premiere of Glover's first work of ensemble choreography. Guests included Sally Sommer and Ernie Smith. - Source
