Chicago Tap Exchange Festival 1991-02-23 Chicago, Illinois. February 23-24, 1991: The Conservatory of American Dance, home of Chi-town Jazz Dance, held its first Tap Exchange on Feb. 23-24, 1991. It was a huge success, thanks to an incredible faculty and wonderful students. The faculty included Bob Audy from New York , Lane Alexander from Alexander/Michaels Future Movement, Julie Cartier of Chi-Town Jazz Dance, Jimmy Payne, Sarah Petronio, Bruce Stegmann, founder of Especially Tap company and Tap Master for Chi-Town Jazz Dance, and Barbara Swanson.
