Ligget & Myers Tobacco Company One Reel (10'38") black and white documentary film of the history of the Negro in entertainment in the twentieth century; includes an unidentified rhythm tap dance number by Bill Robinson. Performers also included Duke Ellington, Ethel Waters, Louis Armstrong. Released the summer of 1952, the film played four New York theatres simultaneously the week of September 7. Film footage includes stills and brief clips of composer W.C. Handy; stills of the famous vaudeville team of Williams and Walker.
