The tap acrobatic team of Tip, Tap & Toe, known for their slides and dancing on a giant drum, rounded off the bill at this theatre that had been operating on a straight picture policy for ten years. Business was only fair, and the house returned to its old policy after the Ellington presentation. The original team consisted of Sammy Green, Teddy Frazier, and Raymond Winfield (for a while the much-admired Freddie James joined the group).
