Miller and Aubrey Lyles, famed vaudeville comedians, made their initial radio debut over 37 stations of the company's network. It is generally known that the white comedians who have been appearing nightly at 10 PM nightly for the past two years gathered the major portion of their gags from Miller and Lyles, who appeared in "Shuffle Along" (1921) and "Chocolate Dandies" (1924)."
