    From the  Pittsburgh Courier:  "Lionel Hampton, "The King of the Vibraharp, and Master of Drums", and his Orchestra was featured on the Cavalcade of Bands show over the Dumont TV web Tuesday evening in the 9-10 time slot. Utilizing a format which brings TV audiences a top name band and vaudeville acts, "Cavalcade of Bands" also featured a number of variety acts which included Kitty Murray, blues singer and comedian, known as "Rochester's" radio girlfriend; Hampton's orchestra; and Stump and Stumpy, deluxe comedy act."
