- The manuscripts and papers of this well-regarded American composer, known particularly for his evocative film scores for the producer Ismail Merchant and the director James Ivory. Robbins attended the New England Conservatory of Music, studied piano with Howard Goding, then studied in Vienna with Hilda Langer-Rühl, going on to become the director of the Music School at Rivers.
