Nevada Day

This celebration begins with a four-hour parade past the state capitol building in the morning. Other events include the World Championship Single-Jack Drilling Contest, a firemen's contest, an Indian powwow, a free chili feed, a quilt show, and orchestral and choral concerts. The day ends with a grand Victorian ball.
