Oswego County Fair

Originally called the Sandy Creek, Richland, Orwell, and Boylston Agricultural Society, the Agricultural Society of Oswego County has produced the Oswego County Fair since 1857 without interruption.

Held on the grounds of the Agricultural Society of Oswego County at Sandy Creek, the fair takes place in July for five to eight days to promote agriculture, horticulture, mechanical and household arts, and economic development. Exhibits include race cars, livestock and dairy animals, horses, plants and flowers, arts and crafts, antiques, canned foods and homed baked goods. Grandstand shows feature demolition derbies, harness racing, and tractor and truck pulls.

Documentation includes two photographs and a fact sheet.
