Dear Mom and Dad,

Nothing to report. Still in the blocking position. I'm too sleepy to go to the movie tonight. It was really got today but it's rather cool tonight. We turned in our winter sleeping bags (fart sacks). I got a letter from you yesterday.

I went to see my buddy Al Neve. I got 5 or 6 Hammond Times. I didn't find anything too interesting in them though. The latest one was April 7.

I'm happy to hear that you're finally going to use that camera.

Today's letter was typed. I can really see the new ribbon in the typewriter. In the envelope you'll find on stenographer!

You said you went over 200 miles on your trip? If I were that close to Home I'd start walking. But -- over 5000 miles!! I can walk farther that I can swim.

I'm sorry to say I couldn't send you a Mother's Day Card, but you know where my heart is.
