Dear Mom and Dad,
Since my last letter I've received 3 Sporting News' and one letter.
I'm working hard and have been for the last week. Tearing down those bunkers is hard work.
Today we were serenaded with songs by the Chinks. The Chinks were on Baldy and we were on Westview.
They're really getting "Chicken Shit" since the truce, shined shoes, stripes and patches etc.
I don't think I'll be home for Christmas. I think it will be in the middle of January before I rotate. It seems so long—
As of now I'm number 16 on R & R. I should go to Japan in September according to the latest news. R & R should be seven days instead of five by September. I hope so, I sure can use the change of environment.
I'm going to the movies now—
