Dear Tommie,
How are you? How's the football season coming along?
Here is a patch from the 25 th "Lightning" Division. I told mother that I put it in her letter but I forgot to, anywayhere it is.
It's getting cold. How is it over there?
I'm still a PFC. I'll probably stay that way. I keep getting in too many fights over here.
How come you haven't written more often? In about six months, all I got from you is a half page.
I hear that you did pretty good playing baseball this summer. Keep it up.
In 88 more days I'll be on my way back home. I sure will be glad to get back. I don't like anything over here. I miss everything and everyone at home.
Well, this is only a few words to let you know that I haven't forgotten you.
