Service History Note
Lois Laster's first assignment was as director of a small African-American Red Cross Club or "donut dugout" in Hull, England. She went on to work at the Liberty Club near Euston Station in London and later at the Duchess Club. She also directed a club in Worchester and at the war's end, she served in clubs in Germany and Austria. She also later served in a club in Korea.
