The veteran notes that his unit was a part Kimpo Provisional Regiment (KPR). He served in Korea from 04/1952 to 04/1953; he was wounded by a grenade thrown by the Chinese Communist Forces on 07/14/1952, and after spending several months in a hospital, received a medical discharge in 1953.
