4-Dec-‘65

Dear Cathy, Billy + Lisa,

How is everyone feeling? I’m feeling good except for a little sore throat that I’ve picked up. Ive never see so many people coughing and sneezing in my life as I have down here. Right now I’m on guard duty. About seventy men were selected to walk guard duty. Its supposed to be an hour but I can do without it. I have to walk around three buildings with my rifle on my shoulder. For two hours, then I’m relieved for four hours then back on for two more hours. This started Saturday ^morning 11:30^ and continues until 11:30 Sunday morning. So that means I walk for eight hours with sixteen hours off. Tonight I have to make sure that no one is around the buildings after 11:00 oclock. If there is I have to challenge them and ask them why they are
