Hi Billy,

Hope everyone is okay. As for me Im fine. Received your letter telling me how bad the Rangers are. It’s going to take them a million years to win the cup. Well right now where sitting somewhere near the Cambodian border. Where on that big operation you asked me about. We have been moving closer and closer for the past two weeks towards the border. There are over 10,000 American troops in the area. The area is called Tay Ninh Province. We were up her once before in August but it wasn’t very bad. They say that there are a lot of V.C. in the area. We have been operating in batalion[sic] and brigade size. Artillery is also out with us. So far think there have been over 900 enemy bodies found. Today our company chalked up 11. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon and we were searching
