diddn’t[sic] need this many men against Reds in Korea. And this is just a little country. There’s no doubt that we will win. Its just how long and how many more casualties it will take.

Ive only got a few more months to go. But they will probbly[sic] be the longest months of my life. This place makes you older before your time. I guess all I can do is keep praying and hopeing[sic] for the best.

Well enough for that. I see the Rangers are falling apart. I hope they can still get in the playoffs. I heard the Yankees are going to fix up the Stadium a little bit. To bad mommy diddn’t[sic] have some money on the number. My eyes are still pretty good, 20-20.
