Hi Billy,
Hope everyone is okay, I’m fine. Sorry I diddn’t[sic] write sooner but where still out in the field. Where up in Tay Ninh Province. Where attached to the 196th. Things have been, well should I say usual. There are plenty of “Charlies” up here. I’ll give you a little heals down on what has gone on since we got up here. We started the operation at the beginning of the month. The first few days were hell. It would take me five pages to explain what went on here’s an example. One day we (my company) ran into an estimated batalion[sic] of “Charlies” Although I believe it wasn’t more than a company. They always build up things. We (my company) got 17 in the initial battle. They called in air strikes within one hundred meters from us. Things were real
