14 June ‘67

Dear Cathy, Billy, Lisa + Little Billy,

Hope everyone is okay, Im fine But boy is it hot out here. It was hot in Colorado. But here its real humid. It has rained quite a bit. There’s also tornado warnings when a storm comes up. Where ever I go it rains. Vietnam, I come home and its raining in California. It rained in N.Y. when I was home. Then in Colorado when I went there now here. I had better learn how to swim HA! HA!

It looks like we won’t be getting a color T.V. set for a while. I just got an article from mommy about the X rays that some of the G.E. sets throw off. Well five more years I guess. We came to Kansas by train. They also shot the A.P.C.’s by train. We loaded them on flat cars a few days before we left and they where sent here ahead of us. There’s no guys in
