I couldn't find anything to buy you honey [illegible] either too much or no good. [Doggone?] it costs too much to have a good time in Chicago, I won't be going there anymore unless I should win enough to pay for it. My [gosh?] look all I've written without telling you I love you - [mostest + bestest?]-

Tell Mom - Dad + yourself (particularly) not to worry about me. Just worry about yourselves, that's enough. Haven't gotten any K.P. yet but I have seen a lot of corporals doing it here - just a matter of time. Just like a new drafter huh?

Well honey I guess that's all there is to say, out side of the fact that I love you -

My address Cpl Kenje Ogata 16037445

1672nd S.V.

Sec B. Bldg 50

Frt Sheridan, Ill.

Don't write yet tho' - I haven't seen any mail delivered yet. In fact it's all unorganized around this outfit. Will let know when things get straightened around a little

Love Kenje
