Darling;

Just got your letter -

Don't know whether I'll get a pass or not. If I do, I'll be in Sterling. So far no pay - + if I don't get paid, will [have?] to borrow to make it home.

Tomorrow I have to go over to Classification + Assignment to see them about my application for assignment to Aerial Gunnery School. Up to now it has had it's promising phase. Golly, I don't know why they are calling me over - maybe good news - probably bad. I'll pass out cold if I make it.

Say give Butch Kent my very best congratulations on the expected. Would like to make the wk end, but no dough, so I guess will take a rain check for some other time.

Well I hope I can make it home cause I love you + would like to spend that time with my honey

All my love

Kenje
