14 March 44

Hi Darling;

You're [sic.] old man has been pretty busy + consequently haven't written.

I'm a happy man again - got my moral shoot high to-day - got all your letters, my watch, a letter from Maggie Norman, one from Tommy, one from Rev. [Keck?] (nice letter) + a letter from Bob + one from Kent -

Bob + Ruth want to come to see me - he expects to take a 3 day pass + said if they can get the necessary finances to expect them - wanted me to see if I could get them hotel reservations. Gosh that'd be nice but I just couldn't get enough time off to make it worth while - so I [illegible] write + tell em to call it off. Tough. Probably be the only chance I'll get to see him for a long long time. I can't imagine why Ruth would be mad. I'll just write + give her hell for not writing to you.
