Dear Darling;

Sorry I didn't get a chance to write yesterday. Was pretty well busy till bed time. Had a night class.

Went out on the range to-day. Skeet shooting. A fellow came up to me and slapped me on the back + who the devil but Russell Anderson, don't think you know him, maybe you do. He married Mary Janet Carolus. Her lad "doc" was here the other day to visit him. I thought I recognized this fellow, but thought I was mistaken + sure enough I found out it was Floyd Carolus. Incidentally has Kent or Helen told the folks yet, about the heir apparent? The reason I ask is that Russ asked me if I knew I was going to be an uncle! So if I hear it in Las Vegas, it's about time they let the father in on it - not that it's my business but I hate to have them get it second handed - Russ is an instructor on the shot guns + he wants me to join his class. I think I will. My present instructor is the present North American skeet champ + spends too much time exhibiting his skill. That's all
