I got three letters from a darling girl today - her name is Wilma I'm going to try to ask her to have me forever + ever as that is the way I want it.

Say this air mail situation is very bad. Did anyone consult you before they raised it to 8 ¢ [[cents]]? They sure didn't ask me about it. I'm gonna have to use the free mail to conserve too.

Well if all goes well as per schedule - I should be on my way home a month from to morrow. Gosh I hope nothing goes amiss.

Got a nice letter from Kelly to-day, a card from Cecil + a letter from Maggie Norman. Norman is worrying cause she thinks her Sgt boy friend is going to get shipped out. Tonite [sic.] I've just got to try to write some letters to all these people I ow or my name will be mud.

Meanwhile keep that light shining in your beautiful eyes + your arms open for your [pootie?] is counting the days -

All my love to my

lovely wife

Kenje
