The second flight I got in the tail turret + fired from the air for the first time. The plane kinda shakes a bit when about half of the gunners start firing. The air is so rough around here at times, even the pilots + co-pilots get sick - so they say. My turn will probably come sometime. If the weather doesn't get to [sic.] bad + we get our 6 missions completed - we'll go back to LV this Sunday. Then one week of flying there firing with cameras instead of bullets. If the weather remains good or rather flyable then we'll ship out of here on the 23rd

Have heard rumors of getting delays again, but I'm not believing before seeing, just hoping.

Sleeping in tents here - gets a little chilly at night. Got my flying suit, helmet, + oxygen mask + flying boots. - Lord are they bulky but it gets pretty chilly at high altitude.
