Monday Nite [sic.]

Hi Darling

Don't know where to start as I don't feel much like writing. Am kinda blue - just a sissy I guess - was over to the service club tonight listening to a gang play the piano - of course all the music he played just gave you the blues.

The reason I'm writing with pencil is cause some dirty --- stole my pen then first night here. Vernon that's the kid from Texas had his wallet stolen - luckily he had only nine dollars in it. just happened to have a money belt on for the first time. We slept in beds next to each other, + both got robbed. Boy there sure is a lot of stealing in this air corps or what I've seen of it. I thought a lot of that pen because you gave it to me sweet heart.

Boy, what I've seen of the air corps so far is poor - the organization of the Medics is got this beat a 1000 times.
