I also understand that our bunch is going on B-24's instead of B-17's (refer to Airnews yearbook) I don't care too much for that if true.

I also fervently pray that we don't have too much trouble finding a place to live. Those westerners don't like yaboes you know + I'm afraid I'm not going to like that worth a damn. I hope my fears are baseless. However if we expect it a little, it won't be such a shock - I don't mind too much but I'll beat anybody that tries to insult you.

I sure wish we could live on the base - wherever I go - it sure would be a lot cheaper + I'd have more time with you - I'll probably be get on a base about 100 miles from town + spend half my free time commuting - I understand most places, the fellows get a 24 hr pass about every 4th or 5th day. Imagine, a whole day together every 4 or 5 days! Even if we only have a shack - which is probably what we'll get if we're lucky.

We leave for supper at 3 PM this afternoon + afterwards we go to the choo-choo - Wish I knew where we were going.

And quit jumping around + stop being all nervous + everything. Don't be wasting precious energy darling - save that till we get together (Aren't I nasty with my implications?) Nice [that?]!

Bring our swimming suits darling, I hope we will be someplace where we can use them.

And for heavens sake bring all the money you can get -

I love you even tho I've been raving all through the letter. Gotta close now

Your best boyfriend

P.S. Vernon + I went to church yesterday especially for Mother's Day Services. Thought it was the least I could do for Mother. Thought prayers she might be glad to know-
