Darling

Just received four letters from you. Two from Mom + one from Al Keebler, all of the last week in December. You'll have to excuse me if you can't read this cause the lights aren't working + candle light is a poor substitute.

Well it certainly ^was^ nice of the old Nat'l. to give me a hundred dollars for Xmas. Certainly didn't expect anything.

I've been trying to figure out what has been going on since we've been [down?]. Firstly, are you contemplating moving up to 410 in Polo - even for a short time it would be swell if possible. I'm a hundred percent for it if that's what you had contemplated.

About Kent, is he in the army
