Darling,

Just had mail call. Didn't get any letters but did receive a swell package from you.

We'll probably brew up some of that coffee before we go to bed. I like that soap it's a dilly. The three rolls of film I can certainly use. Think I told you that some petty thief stole our film + cigarettes + toilet articles while we were down. Really felt bad about the film - had 5 or 6 rolls that I hadn't yet used, but now am set with the three rolls you sent. Thank you hon.

Just took time out to read todays Stars + Stripes. Most of the war news sounds very encouraging. The Russian steam roller is really under power + seemingly advancing at an unbelievable pace.
